True_Blood_Season4_Episode_8It was quite an ending last week with Jessica opening the doors to certain death from the sun but I figured Jason was on his way to save the day and I was right. Jason saves Jessica and the sexual tension between these two ratchets up to a new level.

Bill is still chained downstairs screaming for Jessica. She has recovered her senses and Jason carries her back down to him and they find the mangled body of the guard who tried to stop her from going into the sun. Bill tells them not to worry that the guard’s family will be compensated and that Jessica needs to be chained again. They are not safe from the witches until night fall.

Sam and Luna are talking over the situation concerning Tommy and what he did to her. Sam actually tells her that he can never forgive Tommy for hurting her. He could, however, forgive him for killing their parents because of their cruelty.

Sookie and Eric are still reveling in their new found love. When she removes his silver chains he is badly burned and needs to feed to heal. Sookie offers herself and they exchange blood in a very deep, emotional bonding.

Andy is called in to investigate the death of an apparent vampire suicide. He is so desperate for V that he gets on the ground trying not to lick up the remains of the dead vampire. Jason has to bring him back to his senses but not before Andy goes into a diatribe about how bad he feels. It is the kind of thing Jason does not have the attention span to listen too.

Sookie and Eric have a V enhanced love scene with a beautiful bed in a snow covered forest. They seem to like their love making “au natural “. Admittedly having a V enhanced session is not natural but it sure looks like they were having fun.

The spell did not work as well as planned and Antonia is quite frustrated. She and Tara are going through a mutual vampire bashing session when a call comes in from Bill. He is offering a truce and Antonia finally gives in and says she will meet him at the cemetery in Bon Temps at midnight. They must come alone.

Debbie and Alcide are at another pack party and they seem to getting along fine with everyone. Debbie once again lets her insecurities raise their ugly head and for no apparent reason tells Alcide he has to stay away from Sookie because where she goes vampires always seem to follow. The pack leader, Marcus, wants everyone to steer clear of vampires altogether.

Tommy is using his skin walker talents to imitate Ms. Fortenberry. He sells the right to her land and house right from under her. Tommy forgets how bad the effect of the skinwalker process is and before he can cash the check he passes out in the woods.

Lafayette is still seeing the strange black woman around Arlene’s baby. He avoids the ghost as much as possible but finally in a weak moment the ghost jumps into Lafayette’s body and goes the get Arlene’s baby. We see in a scene from the past that the woman had a white lover that was married and he killed her and her baby to make sure no one ever found out about them. The doll Arlene’s baby plays with is the same doll the ghost bought for her baby the day it was killed.

Marcus, the wolf pack leader, shows up to Luna’s house to tuck in his daughter. He was not very happy to see Sam and threats were rampant all around.

Jessica shows up at Jason’s house to tell him she broke up with Hoyt. He became so angry with her for hurting his friend he rescinded his invitation and she was magically dragged out the door. Looks like no lovin’ in the future for the red-headed vampire.

At the cemetery neither side showed up alone. Bill was trying to placate Antonia with peace but Sookie hears her casting a spell in her head and Eric wastes no time in immediately tearing out the throat of the first witch he can. This begins a battle that both sides could lose. Sookie gets shot in the stomach and Alcide comes running to her rescue. Debbie looks on as he carries Sookie away. True Blood ends with Antonia putting Eric under her spell and it looks like the vampires got the raw end of this showdown.

True_Blood_Season4_Episode_7The vampire series True Blood starts out with the possessed Marnie breaking out of Bill’s prison and announcing to her keepers that Antonia has returned.

Pam attacks Tara and her lover and it looks bad for the two humans until a bunch of onlookers with camera phones start taking pictures and asking Pam if she’s a zombie, causing her to run away. Tara’s lover begs her to leave with her but Tara is staying – Pam has sworn to come back and kill her and she won’t put her lover in danger. She stands in the parking lot crying.

Lafayette and Jesus are demanding answers from his grandfather who tells them that it’s Lafayette who has the magic. Jesus tells Layfayette about his Tio Luca who could connect with the dead and apparently it’s now Lafayette who is the medium. This is confirmed when he sees the ghost of a young African-American woman who has been following baby Mikey.

Debbie and Alcide are in the woods with the local werewolf clan getting indoctrinated. Alcide’s all distracted because he knows Sookie is out in the woods, alone on the night of a full moon. Debbie says they can go look for her and when they do, they find Sookie and Eric naked and still going at it on the forest floor – Alcide looks distressed.

Bill is attacked by his own vampire guard who tries to kill him. Jessica comes to Bill’s house to help him out and he fills her in on who Antonia was and how much power the woman had over vampires during the Inquisition.

Sookie and Eric come crashing into her house, still having sex – it’s like a porno, they’re doing in every position. They end up lying exhausted in her bed, with Eric listening to her heart beat. He asks her if she wants him to remember again. She said yes, but she doesn’t want him to change. He knows that’s impossible – will she still want him when he changes back into the old Eric? She said she hopes so.

Sam is at the hospital with Tommy who’s been diagnosed with food poisoning. Sam doesn’t know he’s got a serious case of “changing into my brother”. Sam calls Luna who is quite pissed off about her treatment in his bed. She hangs up on him and he goes to the school to confront her. Between the two of them, they figure out that Tommy shapeshifted into Sam. They both look like they are going to be sick.

Sookie answers the door and it’s the vampire king Bill. Eric emerges from the back room and she thanks Bill for sparing him. Bill’s has brought silver chains with him to have Eric chain himself in and avoid the witch’s curse. A curse which causes vampires to go out into the sun.

Tara wanders down the road, drinking and yelling into the woods. She thinks it’s Pam who has come to get her but it’s Marnie/Antonia who comes out of the woods. Marnie tells Tara to call her Antonia, that the two of them are linked, they have both suffered at the hands of vampires. It looks like there is an alliance in the making…

Jessica is at Bill’s house getting tied down with silver chains. It’s a very painful procedure for her. Pam is having a lot of injections put in her face to try and restore it to its former beauty and the procedure looks very, very nasty. She is enclosed in a silver mesh and as her assistant closes the lid, you can hear Pam screaming. Sookie covers Eric in silver chains as well. All the vampires are waiting for the dawn.

Debbie and Alcide are having their turn at sex when she quits, asking him if he is in love with Sookie. Debbie starts to cry and Alcide calms her, reassuring her that she is the only one he dreams about. I’m not so sure after the look on Alcide’s face when he saw Eric and Sookie making love in the woods.

The witches are gathered at the wiccan store when Antonia comes in and she explains to them that she is no longer Marnie and she only wants the ones with her who can take on the vampires. The witches are chanting and Antonia starts to rise into the air. At Sookie’s house, the wind starts to blow and Eric begins to scream as he fights his chains.

All the vampires are trying to go to the sun and you see the ones who did not chain themselves down walk outside and burst into flames. Jessica breaks her chains and escapes the cell as Jason races over to try and help her. One of Bill’s guards stops him as Jessica opens the door and True Blood ends with her looking into the sun. Have we lost a vampire?

True Blood Ep 6_I Wish I was the MoonAs predicted, Bill interrupted the long awaited love scene with Eric and Sookie. It did not work out quite the way I expected because Eric ends up getting down on one knee to pay homage to his vampire king. I think Bill was as surprised as I was. The surprise did not last long when Bill has Eric thrown in jail despite Sookie’s strong protests.

Baby Mikey wasted no time heating things up by burning down the house while he sat outside in the yard playing with his ugly (possessed) baby doll. Sam is devastated by the loss of his rental home and asks Tommy to take things over for the day. But Tommy takes it a little too far and he ends up shifting into a Sam look alike.

Lafayette and Jesus are uncomfortable down in Mexico with Jesus’s grandfather. They need help with their vampire problems but the man seems crazy and angry that Jesus has come asking for help. He finally relents and tells Jesus to bring him a sacrifice. What kind of sacrifice is a mystery.

Tara is sleeping at Lafayette’s when she gets an unexpected knock at the door. Her girlfriend has shown up to find out why Tara has been lying to her for so long. Tara tells her the story but the girlfriend does not have much sympathy. Naomi’s anger take over for a second and you think they are going to fight it out but then they end up having make up sex on the floor.

Tommy is having great fun “being” Sam. He fires Sookie and flirts with all the girls. He sympathizes with Mrs. Fortenberry about Tommy but finds out she really thought he was stupid. He does more than run the bar when Luna shows up at Sam’s place – he has sex with her then rudely throws her out. Tommy loses his Sam shape just as Luna rushes out the door.

Sookie forces her way into Jason’s house to find him handcuffed to the bed. He tells her that he is going to turn into a were-panther because it’s going to be a full moon. She thinks he’s lying at first but still wants to help. They are outside waiting on the big change when he disappears. Jessica senses Jason’s fear (remember, she gave him her vampire blood) and runs into the woods to help him.

Alcide comes home to find Debbie with the local pack leader he does not like. She has joined the pack without his permission and he realizes that she is not as trustworthy as he had thought. The pack leader really wants Alcide to join so he was more polite than last time.

Sookie finds Debbie and Alcide out in the woods. They tell her that a were-animal cannot be made; it is hereditary. Jason and Jessica are commiserating about their lives and share a bonding moment as Jason begins to realize that he is not going to change.

Bill is relishing the true vampire death he is about to give Eric but he is taken aback when Eric tells him that he deserves to die but would he please release Pam. He also asks Bill tell Sookie that he was reborn when she found him that night the witches cursed him. He tells Bill that he hopes Bill and Sookie find each other again because she deserves happiness. You can tell that Bill is shocked by Eric’s words.

Marnie has been possessed by the witch Antonia and her tormentor, Father Louis, from hundreds of years before, goes down to the jail to kill her but her power is too strong and she puts him on his knees.

Sookie is walking around outside looking for Jason when Eric shows up behind her. She is ecstatic to see him and he tells her that Bill set him free. They quickly make up for lost time as we cut to see Bill sitting on his porch staring at the moon. I think Bill’s love for Sookie forced him to let Eric go so that she could finally find some happiness. Eric and Sookie consummate their desire under the full moon as this episode of True Blood ends.
