Jane Austen is Up to No Good

If you are a fan of Michael Thomas Ford’s hilarious series about Jane Austen as a vampire, you will probably be really happy to hear that he is getting ready to release the next in the series – Jane Vows Vengeance. I was up on his Facebook site tonight checking to see what he is up to because I am going to be interviewing him on our sister site BestFantasyStories for February.

If you want to read a series about vampires that will keep you giggling while you read, then you have got to check out this series. I am half way through the second book, Jane Goes Batty and can’t wait to see the third one when it comes out next week!

For those of you unfamiliar with the story – Jane Austen was turned into a vampire back in the day, and now she lives here amongst us. And guess what – she writes romance stories! I love the very tongue in cheek look at the whole world of romance stories and the online reviewers that he does in these books.

The vampires are not the bloody scary things of the old days, nor are they the overly-sexy high school hunks of today. Nope, they are writers trying to survive in the big bad modern world.

So if you are looking for some vampire stories with a nice deft touch of humour, I really recommend you check these out. Start with the first book Jane Bites Back and before you know it you will be downloading Jane Goes Batty onto your kindle in a heartbeat. Even if your heart doesn’t beat- you are still gonna love this sweet and funny take on the world of vampire writers.
