A Little Charlaine Harris for Everyone

I thought I would check and see what the grand lady for our little Sookie is up to these days, seeing as this is our Sookie site for all things Sookie. Of course, as I am sure most of you know already, Charlaine is getting ready to release the latest adventures of Sookie soon. The new one, Deadlocked, will be out in May, just a few months away. The wonderful bit of news regarding her book tour is that she is going to be making it out to the South for this tour. She is really pleased by this although the exact cities have not yet been announced. I will let you know as I plan to visit her blog regularly for this site and report back whatever I can glean.

I see that she is planning another anthology of great paranormal stories with her old collaborator Toni Kelner. The book will be called An Apple for the Creature and it sounds interesting. I will keep you posted about this one. If it is only half as great as the one they did last year, Home Improvement, The UnDead Edition, it will be wonderful!

And finally – if you are a lover of the covers for the Sookie Stackhouse books you will be happy to know that the artist for those is Lisa Desimini and she has a website that features them. Not only that – she sells these gorgeous signed archival prints of them. These are not some quickie run off the printer folks, these are beautiful and yours for the asking. Well, for the buying at any rate. A 10 x 14 print is $110 and if you know anything about archival quality art prints, you know that is a great price. Be sure to check this all out at her site here.
